| Resumo: | Abstract: This study aims to extend the frontier analysis of the wages differential question.
The purpose of this work is to verify the vari¬ables which exercise most influence upon the differentiation of the salaries of the economists graduated by the University of São Paulo.
We take into consideration that besides the education obtained by the individual still exist some other variables and between them the social and economic origin of the economist which could influence in the determination of the salary.
These introductory consideration will be avail¬able as a guidance with a view to analysing the most specific question, i. e.t the salaries differentiation. The execution of this task must be considered as of academic nature, and employs a quantitative and social methodology in the elaboration of models, which could be applied to improve the comprehension of a pheno¬menon of-practical and speculative importance. |
