| Resumo: | Resumo: A presente pesquisa visa entender os fatores que explicam a manutenção dos aspectos artesanais no extrativismo da cera de carnaúba em Limoeiro do Norte. Justificamos a exploração desse tema pelo fascínio do autor pelo tema e por ser esse recurso ainda uma importante fonte de renda para produtores e trabalhadores rurais no respectivo município. Objetivamos nessa pesquisa identificar as razões pelas quais a atividade mantém seu padrão tecnológico intacto. Primeiro objetivamos uma descrição do processo produtivo da cera, tanto no passado, quanto no presente, comparando estes momentos e ressaltando o caráter artesanal da atividade, além de analisar a importância atual da atividade para aqueles que ainda lidam com esse tipo de produção, bem como procuramos revelar estrutura histórica e institucional que permeia a lógica e as escolhas destes produtores, a qual pode explicar a preservação destes aspectos artesanais. Utilizando o referencial teórico do institucionalismo, explicamos que a preservação destes aspectos artesanais, ocorre em virtude da prevalência de determinadas instituições, como a memória coletiva cultivada entre os rendeiros idosos e resistentes, a concentração fundiária, responsável pelo arrendamento e também as restritas possibilidades de investimento e poupança no processo produtivo, em face do baixo nível de renda de produtores, os quais com um produto pouco competitivo no mercado, pouco podem fazer para inovar tecnologicamente.#$&Abstract: To present research she seeks to understand the factors that explain the maintenance of the handmade aspects in the extrativismo of the Brazil wax in Lemon tree of the North. We justified the exploration of that theme for the author's fascination for the theme and for being still that resource an important source of income for producers and rural workers in the respective municipal district. We aimed at in that research to identify the reasons for the which the activity maintains your intact technological pattern. First we aimed at a description of the productive process of the wax, so much in the past, as in the present, comparing these moments and pointing out the handmade character of the activity, besides analyzing the current importance of the activity for those that still work with that production type, as well as we tried to reveal historical and institutional structure that it permeates the logic and the choices of these producers, which can explain the preservation of these handmade aspects. Using the theoretical referencial of the institucionalismo, we explained that the preservation of these handmade aspects, happens by virtue of the persistence certain institutions, as the collective memory cultivated among the senior and resistant rendeiros, the concentration, responsible for the lease and also the restricted investment possibilities and saving in the productive process, in face of the low level of income of producers, the ones which with a little competitive product in the market, little they can do to innovate technologically. |
